Overview

What is the PSE&G Marketplace?

  • The PSE&G Marketplace is an online store that facilitates the purchase of energy-saving products while offering instant rebates at the point of sale for smart thermostats.

How do I find products on the PSE&G Marketplace?

  • The PSE&G Marketplace currently offers a selection of smart thermostat products and accessories, some of which are eligible for PSE&G’s residential instant rebate program. You can view each of the available products by selecting a product category from the navigation menu and by clicking on each product for more details.

How long will rebates be available on the PSE&G Marketplace?

  • The quantity of rebates are limited. The PSE&G Marketplace will offer smart thermostat rebates until program funding is exhausted.

What is Honeywell T9 + Sensor Sale offer?

  • Price reflects the manufacturer sale price less the PSE&G instant rebate. Offer only available on participating manufacturers. Honeywell T9 + Sensor Sale offers valid until 9/13/2020 11:59 p.m. ET, while supplies last. The Honeywell T9 + Sensor Sale is $30 off the Honeywell Home T9 Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat with Sensor plus $100 PSE&G Instant Rebate.

Rebates

Which products are eligible for rebates?

  • The rebate is available on eligible smart thermostat devices purchased directly through the PSE&G Smart Thermostat Program Marketplace. 

Who is eligible for a rebate?

  • To be eligible for a smart thermostat rebate you must be a current PSE&G residential electric and/or natural gas delivery service customer. 
  • Eligible customers may order up to two (2) smart thermostat devices at PSE&G’s rebated prices. If you have already received two (2) rebates under the Smart Thermostat Program, you are not eligible for additional rebates; however, you may purchase additional thermostats at full price without the rebate.

Warranty Provisions
  • All product warranties are provided by the product manufacturer. Please visit the product manufacturer website for all warranty information.
Installation
PSE&G thermostat installation services are not available through the PSE&G Smart Thermostat Rebate Program. Please be aware of the installation requirements for each smart thermostat before purchasing. To check installation compatibility please review the following:

Please note that PSE&G’s WorryFree® Protection Plans do not cover installation, or any repairs necessitated by the installation, of new smart thermostats purchased on the PSE&G Marketplace.

C-Wires
  • Some thermostats require a C-Wire to power the device. For your convenience, the selection available through this store offers only those products that do not require a C-Wire and/or include a C-Wire adapter kit.

What payment forms are accepted on the Marketplace?

Why wasn’t I able to complete my online credit card transaction?

How is sales and use tax applied to my smart thermostat purchase?

  • Sales and use tax is calculated based on the shipping address for the order. Sales and use tax applies to the item price, either full or sale, of each item plus shipping charges, if applicable, before PSE&G provided rebates have been applied.
  • After rebate eligibility is determined, your final item cost thus reflects the cost after rebates. However, rebates do not reduce the sales tax calculation.

How can I view and print my online order confirmation?

  • View your order information using the order confirmation email we send to you.

How do I track my order?

  • The tracking information, if available, will be included in the shipping confirmation email we send to you.
  • Note: Shipping estimates may be delayed during peak seasonal and promotional periods. Please be on the lookout for your tracking email.

Can I cancel an order?

  • To deliver your order as quickly as possible, we begin processing your shipment immediately after you hit "Complete purchase.” This means that unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders for in-stock items.

Why is my item on backorder?

Who runs the PSE&G Marketplace?

  • PSE&G is pleased to offer these services through our partner, Uplight. As an authorized program implementer, Uplight is responsible for all services provided through the PSE&G Marketplace.

SHIPPING

Will COVID-19 affect my shipping date?

  • We are monitoring the situation resulting from COVID-19 closely and are doing everything we can to ensure that orders are shipping on time. While we are not experiencing shipping delays currently, please understand that your order could take additional time to ship. Please allow up to seven business days for shipping confirmation before contacting customer care.

How are shipping fees calculated?

  • At this time, we offer free shipping on all orders over $49, after rebates and taxes are applied. For orders under $49, after rebates and taxes are applied, we offer a $5 flat rate shipping.

When will my order be shipped?

  • Orders are typically shipped within 5-7 business days after the order is placed.

Are there any shipping restrictions?

  • Customers who validate their eligibility using their PSE&G account number can ship to any location within New Jersey. For all Google Nest orders, shipping is not available to PO boxes or military bases.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

  • At this time, we do not offer expedited shipping. You will receive a tracking number as soon as we release your order for shipping so you can track its progress.

Can items from the same order be shipped to different addresses?

  • If you need deliveries to different addresses, please place a separate order for each shipping address.

RETURNS

What is your return policy?

  • If you are not satisfied with your order, you can request a return for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase date. To initiate a return, please visit the Uplight Return Center by clicking here.

Will you provide a shipping label for my return?

  • You will receive a shipping label when you submit your return request. A $5.00 cost for the returned shipment will be deducted from your refunded amount.

When will I receive my refund?

  • Once we have received your returned product and verified that the return is complete, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 3-7 business days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, a refund may take longer to appear on your statement.

What if I receive the wrong product?
